Brainstorm, leading manufacturer of real-time 3D graphics and virtual studio solutions, will be exhibiting at BVE 2018 sharing stand N24 with Storm Broadcast, its long-standing reseller in the UK and Ireland. At the stand, both companies will showcase Aston, the advanced solution for 2D/3D motion graphics creation and CG, alongside with InfinitySet, the award-winning virtual set and augmented reality solution.
Aston is Brainstorm’s 2D/3D motion graphics creation solution, featuring advanced tools and object properties such as high-end 2D and 3D textures and materials, shaders, bump mapping or advanced 3D shadows to name a few. It has a long record of success in creating advanced graphics content, by using innovative animation tools like StormLogic, Brainstorm’s approach to intuitive template interaction with an advanced object-based animation, allowing the creation of complex animations and interactions between elements with no need of scripting or complex animation matrixes.
Sharing space with Aston, InfinitySet will be showcased at BVE demonstrating advanced, hyper realistic virtual studio and augmented reality content thanks to its Combined Render Engine, along with other industry-first technologies. This approach combines the Unreal Engine with Brainstorm’s own eStudio render engine, resulting in a perfect solution to create state-of-the-art hyper realistic background scenes that also integrate elements which are essential in broadcast operation, such as 3D data-driven motion graphics, charts and many other. With the latest V3 software, the integration of InfinitySet with Aston is now complete with much improved graphics workflow. InfinitySet now directly controls the animation logic and structure of the Aston graphics, enhancing the creation, management and use of Aston content for alternative applications such as augmented reality and in-context graphics.
David Alexander, Commercial Director of Brainstorm, says that “our recent sales prove that Aston continues to be the benchmark product in the UK for graphics production and CG requirements, performing daily in a variety of fast-moving and demanding environments. We are also delighted with our longstanding collaboration with Storm Broadcast resulting in a seamless bond between our two companies which in turn drives our continued market expansion and simultaneously ensures excellent relationships with our clients”.
According to Paul Vanlint, Director of Storm Broadcast, “Aston has always been a best-seller and certainly a reference system in the UK, and we are proud of having so many happy customers creating amazing work every day. At BVE we will be demonstrating how Aston, in combination with InfinitySet, can create even more advanced content including augmented reality and in-context graphics in different environments.”
