Brainstorm, leading manufacturer of real-time 3D graphics and virtual studio solutions, will be exhibiting at IBC 2018 (stand 7C19), showing all the latest enhancements for high-end and hyper-realistic content creation. The company will showcase an impressive theatre presentation based on photorealistic virtual sets, augmented reality and broadcast applications, where the synthetic images will be indistinguishable from the real ones. It will be even more impressive given the combination of the Brainstorm eStudio renderer with the Epic Games Unreal Engine within the new Combined Render Engine application. And what is more, with the recently launched version 3, the merging of Aston graphics material with InfinitySet adds yet another level of visually engaging content within the virtual studio environment.
InfinitySet will demonstrate why Brainstorm is the company of choice for the creation of advanced, photorealistic virtual sets and Augmented Reality content. InfinitySet 3 provides state-of-the-art Augmented Reality features used daily by broadcasters all over the world to create impressive and eye-catching shows using virtual sets and graphics. Technologies like TrackFree™ or unique features such as TeleTransporter, 3D Presenter or VideoGate are helping customers of all sizes, all over the world, to create amazing virtual content to better engage audiences while significantly reducing costs. Also, new features premiered earlier in the year such as the dynamic control of external lights and chroma keyer settings, will demonstrate why the results obtained with InfinitySet are setting the benchmark for photorealistic real-time virtual studio content.
Brainstorm will showcase a dedicated augmented reality pod to display the amazing possibilities of such applications using InfinitySet, as customers such as WrestleMania in the US, TVN in Chile, RAI in Italy and many others are delivering daily to their audiences with great success.
Aston itself showcases advanced graphics creation tools and object properties, including advanced primitives, textures, materials, shaders and many more, and features a user-friendly, contextual interface that speeds up and facilitate the designer’s operation. Consequently, Aston is able to perform at its best in any graphics application, from channel branding to news and sports graphics with charts, classifications or bumpers, and from data-driven statistics to augmented reality interactive objects.
To complete the graphics range, Brainstorm will also showcase Neuron, Brainstorm’s pathway to broadcast graphics, traffic and branding management solution. Neuron is an integrated, MOS-compatible template-based system that allows for complex graphics integration not only in the newsroom, but also in most of the common broadcast workflows, enhancing the newsroom with the support of continuity and broadcast traffic as well.
In addition, Brainstorm will unveil new products and developments covering weather and sports applications, which will enhance the company’s portfolio and complement the current range by providing additional possibilities to the already vast toolsets of Aston and InfinitySet.
According to David Alexander, Brainstorm’s Commercial Director, “At IBC Brainstorm will demonstrate, once again, how our range of products are increasingly in demand to satisfy broadcasters’ requirements for graphics, augmented reality and virtual studio applications. Based on our growing network of regional offices, we are also proud of the work performed by our extensive sales and support teams and by our expanding list of resellers around the world, which have been instrumental in achieving the significant growth in sales which we’ve experienced in the year to date.”
