Brainstorm, leading manufacturer of real-time 3D graphics and virtual studio solutions, announces a Post IBC Open House hosted by Storm Broadcast, the company’s reseller for UK and Ireland. The event will take place at Storm Broadcast’s facilities in Elstree Film Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, on October 3rd-4th.
The Open House will provide visitors with detailed demonstrations and hands-on experience with the complete Brainstorm product range, with special interest in Aston and InfinitySet. Aston is Brainstorm’s advanced 2D/3D motion graphics creation, CG and playout system, which builds on the heritage of Aston in the CG world and the experience of Brainstorm in real-time 3D graphics to provide the ultimate solution for broadcast graphics. Developed with designers in mind, Aston showcases advanced graphics creation tools and object properties, including advanced primitives, textures, materials, shaders and many more, and also features a user-friendly, contextual interface that speeds up and facilitate the designer’s operation.
InfinitySet is the choice for advanced, photorealistic virtual sets and Augmented Reality content, providing state-of-the-art Augmented Reality features used daily by broadcasters all over the world to create stunning shows using virtual sets and graphics. Along with its advanced toolsed and unique technologies such as TrackFree™ or the Combined Render Engine with Epic Games’ Unreal Engine, new features premiered earlier in the year such as the dynamic control of external lights and chroma keyer settings, will demonstrate why the results obtained with InfinitySet are setting the benchmark for photorealistic real-time virtual studio content. Also, the merging of Aston graphics material with InfinitySet adds yet another level of visually engaging content within the virtual studio environment.
Paul Vanlint, Storm Broadcast’s Managing Director, says “This Open House is the perfect chance for UK customers to see why Brainstorm is the company of choice for broadcasters all over the world to create advanced 3D graphics, photorealistic virtual sets and augmented reality content for a variety of applications, from News and Sports to Elections or Entertainment. We are extremely pleased with the long and successful relationship we’ve had with Brainstorm, and we are looking forward to once again showing such new and powerful systems in the UK.”
