Brainstorm to showcase its latest graphics and virtual production tools at IBC 2025

Brainstorm is set to unveil its latest innovations at IBC 2025. Located at stand 7C39 in Hall 7, Brainstorm will showcase cutting-edge developments across virtual production, real-time 3D motion graphics, newsroom workflows, and immersive presentations.

A key highlight will be Suite 6.2, introduced at NAB 2025, the latest version of InfinitySetAston, and eStudio. This release will be demonstrated through a dynamic, data-driven weather show combining augmented reality (AR) and virtual production. Powered by InfinitySet and Unreal Engine 5, the demo will feature advanced capabilities including multi-scene managementtalent tele-transportation, and hyper-realistic AR graphics with advanced rendering technologies including gaussian splatters, showcasing how InfinitySet blends real and virtual production in real time.

The demonstration will feature a hybrid workflow that integrates real sets and virtual environments using a Modularpix Pro LED volume from Alfalite, the European LED manufacturer. The setup employs Canon’s new generation EOS C500 Mark II cameras and CN-E Cinema Prime lenses mounted on XD Motion’s ARCAM / IO.BOT robotic motion control systems, an industry leader in aerial and multi-dimensional tracking. This collaboration presents a fully remotely controlled production environment, ideal for space or crew-constrained scenarios. Brainstorm has certified Canon’s new metadata transmission technology for virtual production, streamlining camera and lens calibration and enhancing visual consistency through Canon’s signature color science.

This demo also underscores the raw processing power and optimized software performance of InfinitySet. Thanks to Dual GPU support and the recently certified NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, a single workstation can handle complex virtual production tasks, spanning LED and chroma sets, multiple camera inputs, and real-time AR graphics. Key features like extra-render, 3D LUT-based real set extension, and immersive talent tele-transportation will be on full display, emphasizing performance, scalability, and ease of use.

Addressing the vital role of motion graphics in today’s broadcast landscape, Brainstorm will introduce new Aston features designed for data-driven AR graphics and collaborativemulti-channel workflows. A major addition is Instances, a centralized asset system that allows designers to reuse pre-compositions across templates and projects. These graphics can be embedded into immersive virtual environments, including Unreal Engine scenes, enabling seamless interaction with both talent and the virtual set.

For creating immersive presentations of any kind for corporate and education environments, Edison will demonstrate the latest developments in the Edison Ecosystem, including EdisonGO, a custom-built capture environment that provides video and tracking information from an iPad, and Edison OnCloud, a subscription-based web service that allows any user to create immersive presentations on the cloud.

“We’re thrilled to return to IBC and highlight the powerful capabilities our products bring to content creators,” said David Alexander, Commercial Director at Brainstorm. “As virtual production continues to expand across broadcast, film, and corporate sectors, Brainstorm’s decades-long expertise in real-time 3D graphics ensures our clients maintain their competitive edge.”
